As Chief Executive Officer, Mark Cherry guides the vision, strategy, and approach of ALIGN PRECISION with a particular focus on growth and execution. He draws on over 20 impactful years in the defense, aerospace, and high-tech sectors to ensure our nationwide precision-manufacturing teams work as one to deliver quality products on time and on budget while meeting and exceeding customer expectations.

A U.S. Air Force veteran with an engineering background, Mark believes in duty, integrity, and doing the right thing. He enjoys the challenge of building teams and growing businesses, two things he's accomplished throughout his career. At ALIGN PRECISION, Mark wants to build the legacy of the brand while evolving it to meet customers' demands for more and more precise components of even higher and higher quality.

Before leading ALIGN PRECISION, Mark cultivated a vast and varied career over two decades in the defense, aerospace and high-tech sectors. Most recently as Vice President and General Manager of Vertical Lift at Boeing Defense, Space and Security, he oversaw Boeing's portfolio of rotorcraft capabilities and future vertical lift solutions. He also previously served as Vice President and General Manager of Phantom Works at Boeing. Mark's earlier experience includes five years at Aurora Flight Sciences as President and Chief Operating Officer and almost six years at Sikorsky Aircraft as Vice President of Corporate Strategy & Synergy, Vice President Marine Corps Systems and Director of Operations and Planning.

Mark earned his Master of Business Administration from Stanford University Graduate School of Business, his Master of Science in aeronautical and systems engineering from the Air Force Institute of Technology-Graduate School of Engineering & Management, and his bachelor's in engineering mechanics from the United States Air Force Academy.
